In terms of validity and usage, Euregio student passes issued in South Tyrol and used within the südtirolmobil network are subject to the same rules as Südtirol Pass abo+ passes: Simply remember to check in before every journey. In Tyrol (A) and in Trentino (I), with a few exceptions, you only need to show the QR code printed on the pass at the request of a ticket inspector.
The annual subscription fee is EUR 430. There are no additional costs for issuing a new ticket.
Eligible students who already have a Südtirol Pass abo+ subscription can simply request a Euregio Ticket Students by paying an additional EUR 280. The ticket can then be used anywhere in the Euregio territory, with the annual validity of the original Südtirol Pass abo+ ticket remaining in place.

- regional buses that travel beyond the boundaries of one province into another and are equipped with a südtirolmobil ticket validation machine; i.e. buses operated by South Tyrol serving the routes 140, 180, 246, 273 and 471, and
- trains travelling to South Tyrol from Trento, Lavis or Mezzocorona (I) as well as from Innsbruck, Sillian or Lienz (A). The three Austrian train stations are equipped with ticket machines where you can check in to validate your ticket from Brennero/Brenner or San Candido/Innichen, respectively.
Anything else related to travelling by bus or train on a Euregio student ticket is generally governed by the transportation rules and guidelines of the operator in charge of the territory you are travelling in: Keep in mind that the rules for taking a pet or bike with you and for using long-distance trains in Trentino and Tyrol vary accordingly.
To benefit even more widely from your Euregio Ticket Students pass, you can activate the option to pay for additional services that you may need: either with our pre-paid system that can be topped up or “re-filled” as you go, or by SEPA Direct Debit from your bank account. - transporting bicycles (day pass),
- transporting a pet (single-fare ticket)
- travel on a Nightliner bus service (Nightliner fares apply)
How to use your pass: If you have activated the payment function of your Euregio Ticket Students pass, you can validate and use your ticket just like a standard Südtirol Pass: Check in at the beginning of your journey and remember to check out at the end when travelling on regional and Citybus services. When travelling on a regional train, please remember to enter the code of your destination into the ticket validation machine and to confirm your selection, otherwise your ticket will not be valid. A list of all train station codes can be found next to the blue ticket validation machines.
