In September, the Autonomous Province of Bolzano/Bozen will present the Südtirol Mobility Award for the tenth time to particularly outstanding projects in the field of sustainable mobility.
The award is presented in three categories:
- Schools and associations (non-profit organizations)
- Municipalities and district communities
- Companies
Sustainable mobility takes many forms: from school initiatives to the reorganization of corporate mobility. Südtirol is already on the move, with many innovative projects that deserve visibility and support. The award recognizes this diversity and rewards initiatives that make a concrete contribution to future-oriented mobility.
Evaluation Criteria
A technical jury will evaluate the projects according to the principle of “avoid – shift – improve” traffic and based on:
- contribution to sustainable mobility
- impact on the local context
- creativity and visibility of the initiative
- communication, innovation, and replicability
The winners of each category will receive a cash prize. In addition, the first-place winners in each category will receive a professional video to promote their project as a best practice example.
Throwback to 2025
In 2025, with the new criteria and the introduction of category-based awards, four winning projects were selected:
- Schools and associations: 1st place – Lagundo Comprehensive Institute Watch now
- Municipalities and district communities: 1st place – Burgraviato District CommunityWatch now
- Companies: 1st place – Alpitronic Watch now
- Special Jury Award: nature house Watch now
How to Apply
All interested parties can submit their projects starting immediately. The online application form and all important information on the new criteria are available here:
